Will someone please slap me back to reality or confirm what I've just found. Quick research would date this between 1928 (when the pocket got a flap) and 1936 (when the red tab was added). There doesn't look to be any damage under the patches and they look like they could be easily removed. Any Levi's experts? @Stewie @double00

@dad2bandm My gut says legit. Tag looks correct and stitching doesn’t look like most fakes out there. There also wouldn’t be any sure fire way to call it one way or the other.

Edit: @impuntura There should only be two letters at the beginning of the code, that’s about as far as my knowledge goes.

looks old/legit from here. i remember somebody here found what turned out to be a pretty early version, the cinch hardware was silver!

will pm you with the definitive source. they changed a bunch of details afaik in this period and i think it will be worth it to qualify this, i hope that helps. neat to see the added patches, i wouldn't remove them.

If that’s not real @impuntura ...I’m shocked. The detail and stamping looks so clean, but I guess that’s also the danger with LV. There are some really high end replicas out there with them.
