Aren't expensive items meant to be somewhat good looking? That is easily on the top 10 list of the ugliest items posted here. Stellar find Frenchy!

Long time, no post! Been super hectic - and sadly haven't seen the inside of a thrift store in what feels like forever - hopefully that will change sometime son. That said, I have a favor to ask of our resident furniture experts (@330CK , @impuntura , @SpooPoker all come to mind haha). Is Chairish generally far off on valuation (feels like it's high, but can't tell if it's a 50% haircut, 30% haircut, etc to get to true market value)? Asking as I'm trying to help some family figure out the value of a set of RL bamboo furniture (and what would be the best method to sell the pieces). Any advice and insight would be much appreciated. For refrence, it's very similar to this set:

Ps my gf said she liked them .
Im seriously rethinking a 6 year relationship now.
Isn’t it consensus on this thread that women have absolutely no clue about menswear and what looks good and not?

Used to have a couple pairs of Nasons 10 or so years ago, constantly got more good comments from chicks on those than any other shoes I had.

Your big toe nail looks like it's wearing a parka/hoodie. Gotta take it easy trimming your toe nails, homie, gonna get a wicked ingrown like that.

That's an old injury.
About 20 years ago I was talking to a friend of mine at the gym while I was sliding a 45 pound plate off the bench press bar ,didn't pay attention and it slid right off and onto my big toe.
Within a week it was every color of the rainbow till it just came off completely.grew back this way and it's been that shape ever since .
Apologies if anyone is having dinner lol.

it’s just like the other platforms—each person prices the way they want. you can search what they call the Chairish Pink Book for sold prices. but furniture is really dependent on desirability in the area and/or cost to ship it, and how patient you can/want to be. if it’s like that set, it’s got coastal appeal so it should sell well in your area to a like hamptons estate. rl home has different lines/quality, so look out for green/lauren by ralph lauren tags. blue label is tagged various ways from polo ralph lauren, to ralph lauren home, to just rl. some is tagged like rlpl—some of that is v good older, some more recent.

some nuance regarding condition, upholstery and style, but that set should sell for anywhere from 2-4k, again depending how patient you want to be.
