A little out of norm for the thread, but sub-10% rule. I bought a house knowing I'd eventually build or buy a ramp, but put it off for a bit since the quotes for it to be professionally built were in the 3-4K range, and a properly built DIY would run ~1.5k.

By some serious luck, a guy on Craigslist was giving away their (two-year old) ramp for free as long as it was deconstructed/hauled out. Apparently the guy had ~20 people hit him up within a day but honored that I was the first to reply.

To make a long story short, after renting a trailer/convincing friends to help/etc, it was game on. Had to rebuild the transitions due to the frame being rotted out, but still kept materials cost < $200. The paint is drying now but otherwise its ready to go. Unbelievably excited.

Hey gents, I haven't got a chance to thrift much lately with a new job and the current situation going on in the world but today was my first chance in about 6 months. It was great to get back out there walking around I actually found some pretty decent stuff today too which leads to.... can I get a legit check on these... I'm not a sneaker aficionado so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening gents, need an assist on these Zelli’s I found today please. Question is whether these are real croc, not sure if Zelli ever made embossed leather shoes. Most exotic skin Zelli‘s have a little metal tag on the bottom near the heel indicating croc, lizard, ostrich, etc, in addition to the leather “vero cuoio” stamp on the sole. Looks like the bottom of mine have a couple pin holes where the tag was likely attached so I’m leaning toward the real thing. Any thoughts? Thx!

Those are both totectors, which is cool. $12 each. And here's the second one of these NuFace gizmos I've found at the same GW in the past month. At $8, good for around 13x.

And Patagucci, again . . . $6.

interestingly, I haven't had much competition in my little town until just last week, when I saw a new picker, three times in a row, both at GW and estates. Grabbed a pair of $2500 cowboy boots from right in front of me that I would have cleared $500 on. At checkout I struck up a conversation about whether he was new in town and whether he was a reseller. "Nah", he said, as he used his eBay credit card to pay for his finds. LOL. Gonna have to go every damn day now . . . and get to the estates earlier . . . now I know how the rest of you feel (yeah, TWSS).

I don’t think Zilli ever did fake croc or alligator

Definitely legit skin, the holes where the tags were on the soles is a dead giveaway like you said ?

Zilli and Zelli are very different brands

I've found maybe five pairs of Zellis over the years and they were always quality made shoes ,two lizards, two pairs of crocs and one pair of ostrich .
Those are definitely real croc.
