Can anyone help with an ID please? Can't find anything on the tie other than the contents label (SILK 100%, Handmade, Made in Japan). The words all translate to 'Peace' in different languages. Found with an array of other designer / high quality Italian silk ties (Marinella etc), so it's potentially something nice. Took a gamble for £4.99.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance!

I had a summer job in between HS and college, working in the tree department in my hometown outside Boston, which had a lot of trees. We used Husqvarna chain saws, and I never had one fail on me. One time while getting a 4' wide stump ready for the stump cutter (a rotating beast with tungsten teeth), I found a 3/4 carat diamond ring in the undergrowth that I later sold to pay the security deposit and first and last month's rent on my first apartment in San Francisco after graduation. That was in 1982, when the prices were still approachable. Didn't know Husky made meat grinders, too!

Husqvarna makes anything imaginable made out of steel. Started out making weapons in the late 17th century and has made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers sewing machines etc. Nice Swedish quality on most of their items

Haven’t posted any clothing finds in a while. Stumbled upon these 10 late 50- early 60’s Pendletonnns in surprisingly good condition. Some have the loop, most are single pocket. All have the care label in the right shoulder area. One has a date of 1962, rest undated.
Usually there are a few moth nibbles, but these are pretty pristine. Couple have torn at the crease in the collar. Looks like the fella had them dry cleaned and promptly forgot about them for a few decades as they had ancient dry cleaning tags stapled to the tags. These are also not nearly as scratchy as most I’ve found. Makes me wonder what differences in fabric and dry cleaning methods have on their scratchiness.
I love their patterns from these days.

Show the labels? I have a Board Shirt with a 1960 date on the care label, which they only did for a few years in the early 60s.

Truth. Most luxury brands get their leather from India, and make in places like Bangladesh.

I'd love to follow the trail of that bag to it's origins.

True story.

Took a drive to a Sally way far away that usually never delivers. But, expended all my resources locally so why not. Found a few fodder pieces enough to make up gas and time and was happy. Went to pay and the cash register was on top of the jewelry case. Started bullshitting with the cashier and saw an iPhone in the case, only cause I saw it light up after a text or something. Asked her if it was for sale and she said no, it was hers, she only keeps it there for the charger. I usually never would have looked. My eye caught a watch box with a $4.99 price tag on it (I peeled the sticker off from the top as you can see, I never thought it would be brag worthy) - from a very reputable store. I asked to see it, took 3 seconds and figured it would be an easy 50 bucks. Bought it, threw it in the trunk and didnt look at it for a week or so. Finally got it out to get a closer look and to my surprise.... well looky there.
