One of the Marinellas from last years crazy tie haul was an 11 fold.

Just got these beauties from our favorite reseller via eBay. I was the only bidder at $50. Knew the name but had never seen a pair before. Out of the box they are a little snug, Will see if they are keepers. have shoe trees in them and will have to touch them up a bit but these are clearly nice quality shoes.
does anyone know much about them? Not a lot on the internet except they made exceptional bespoke shoes in Rome and Silvano Lattanzi bought them out at some point. Happy to hear more If anyone knows. Would bespoke shoes have a size? A u.s. Size? Maybe they also made rtw? I assume they are pretty old but condition is very good.

Size is 411 / 11 D. First digit represents the width (4th letter of the alphabet, D) next two are the size (11)

Small pedantic note for newer members: Canadian shoemaker Dack's shouldn't be confused with UK fashion house DAKS

Pretty sure that Patek is a lined 6 fold. Kiton, Isaia, etc are all lined 6 folds. True 7 folds like Robert Talbott's will be un-lined and have 7 actual folds in the piece of fabric.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted here... got a full time gig that has been absolutely eaten away at my free time. I rarely have time to thrift anymore... BUT I have been monitoring FB marketplace quite a bit and finally struck gold. Grabbed this grail-tier Schott Shearling B-3 for $90!! I live in LA, and I can guarantee NO ONE here has any need for this. I was hoping it might fit me, but it’s massive (xxl) so hopefully it will make someone else happy.

The person selling also had a pair of brand new in box black New Republic Chelsea’s in my size, so I took those off her hands ($30). I guess this will have to scratch the itch for now.

Does this thing ring a bell with anyone? Online auction, I can't inspect it, so I don't know if this is just a crappy particleboard table or some kinda funky 60s, 70s, 80s piece. It reminds me of something but I'm drawing a blank, so curious if furniture bros recognize it.
