Finally got a run down to Phoenix to pick up some stuff from an auction, and was able to run into a couple favorite spots that were open short hours.

Footwear, and top left is a pair of Ariat's "official" bull riding boots by Adriano Moraes. Then AE Byrons, Bally formal and PRL Made in England suede tassel loafers. C&J?

Fantastic Burberrys Norfolk.

Ben Sherman shorts for me, and Cuci for someone else (TWSS).

I don't know anything about T shirts, but took a flyer on these.

Ecuadorian Marley rasta hoodie by TAHUANTISUYO. Too cool.

Ricci and Patagucci

Faconnable suede safari, and a hand-made safari-style piece by Elevée for AZ Cards wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Keeping that one. Looks unworn.

BTW, if there are any Larry Fitzgerald fans here, there are about a dozen of his suits in that store. Likely 44 slim. Can proxy.

Summer shirt wardrobe? Check that one off.

And the obligatory PRL.

I got creeped out when I first started back in to the thrifts, but after three or four stints, have gotten more comfortable in an N95 and rubber gloves. First time out I could barely hack it, especially as it's unseasonably hot here, but I suppose we get used to anything . . . Happy hunting!

Danish teak bedroom set: I'd put a placeholder bid on this local online auction, expecting to get outbid, but then forgot all about it and won it anyway. Platform bed with drawer, 2 nightstands, plus a LKNW Tempur-Contour Supreme mattress that's current and $2250 on Amazon. All for $50. When I went down to pick up, the guy said no-one had shown up for the dresser/mirror combo, and had forfeit, so I gave him $20 and loaded 'em up. Dresser is a beast. Solid wood. Bed is partly veneer. So all this, plus my earlier post above, made the 4-hour round trip worth it. #thehustledelivers

My bike find for today.

An early Carbon frame Giant, with chromoly forks, and period top shelf equipment.

I'm gonna watch it, until I get my Abe bucks. Then clean it up for teh wife.

If the bike is in decent shape, it might be worth a hundred bucks. LX isn’t top shelf though, that was 4th in line after XTR came along (3rd tier before that, putting it solidly in the middle of the lineup.

(It's all Deore LX and Alivio. just needs pedals, seat, pads and cables.)

For sure. It’s better than the bike I was riding back then. Retail around $1k.
