Grail piece picked today. My first backpacking pack was from Antelope, purchased from the same location where this was made. I’d guesstimate early 1980s on this one.

That post is full of so much win!
Awesome pup!

are you saying vintage card market is doing well too or mainly just demand for newer cards? I’ve got quite a few tucked away somewhere if the kids haven’t found them...

I would say every corner of the sport card market is seeing a healthy uptick in value. Vintage (pre-1970) is like only becoming rarer, they appreciate slower than newer stuff but depending on what you have and the condition, its most likely doing a lot better than the last time you checked...

The craziest jumps i've seen have been with the modern "blue chips"....MJ,Brady, Lebron, Trout, but it trickles down to other star players. Just look at graded MJ rookie cards sold price history, it's insane. LeBron (topps chrome, PSA graded 10's) rookies were also about a grand 6 months ago, some have sold for well over 5K recently.

Gary Vee blew the lid off of the whole thing, he also hypes thrifting/flea markets, pretty cool guy it seems

I'm guessing Chromocraft but haven't seen the name yet. Had to have them call a mgr to price and got them for 165. And it all fit in a dodge journey

Hell yeah.
Btw my 500 was the I wanna get rid of it asap get out of jail card price.
If you got time and space I'd post that for 1200-1500 and see what happens.
I wouldn't take less then a grand.

Thrift/discount/vintage-fit!

Thrifted linen shirt from Barba
Shorts from Hertling, bought from @SpooPoker during the trousers bonanza a few years ago
Vintage German Army Trianers from Broadway and Sons View attachment 1392987

Looks great, wonderful shirt! Question: are you incredibly tall or does that room have a lower ceiling? Or is it just the angle? No matter, I appreciate your clean floors!

-------

I often read about some of you guys being able to "check something off your list." Do you guys have actual lists of stuff you'd like to find? I started keeping one a while ago and, naturally, things are eventually found and crossed off while others are added.

I thought I'd share a sampling of my personal list. The full list is pretty boring, but I was close to checking something off this week and thought I'd post a partial list in case I find some of this stuff. This is a mix of "should have found it by now" and "good luck."
