It is a flyer's kit bag, aka parachute bag. I was issued one in the 80s and use it to carry my mail to the post office to this day. The cotton ones are great but the synthetic ones suck.
We used to nab the pilot helmet bags, too. Good for everyday carry!
I was on a bourbon buying kick about 6 months ago. Thinking this a good time to tap into some of the nicer ones I've aquired.
Buddy dropped this off last week, gonna open it up tonight. Cheers, boys.

Not looking to take advantage of anyone; just thought maybe I'd be able to score a Craigslist/Kijiji deal on a pair of Tannoy speakers or something. But all platforms are dead. Can't buy anything; can't sell anything.

Time to pop this on the turntable and think about how fucked up everything is.

Recognizing that I'm in a fortunate situation and the fact that I'm still working is great
However I'm going freaking stir crazy here. I don't know how people work from home every day.

It's really dawned on me how much I use the thrifts to just get out and clear my head [plus finding cool **** is a nice bonus]

Dude same here. I use thrifting as a mindless task I can do while thinking about other stuff. It's oddly therapeutic. Someone down the road is putting out books on the table. And checking the table every day, then going back inside, is my current solace.

holy **** that’s the old £5 note. We haven’t had those for nearly 4 years! You’ll need a new one to match... I’ll hook you up when I’m home from being ******* stranded in the Philippines.
We’re house bound until tomorrow but all the shops are closed so what’s the point?
