Really? I had the impression that he was just a brand, like Ralph Lauren, and someone else made the clothes. Didn’t know he had manufacturing as well.

I've been that label only on DV, but I'd love to know the real maker if that isn't the case.
This was in Andrew Carrington/House of Carrington, which I’ve never heard of.

@bensm1th It's not current as in the last 5 years I think, but the condition is great other than a puncture tear in the shoulder. It's also probably the most timeless jacket you can get. I'm pretty sure a lot of the purple label items are made in Italy now.

Coincidentally I arrived in Tokyo yesterday. Going to meet up with a friend from the Vintage Shoe thread this morning and deliver a pair. Here’s the beef ramen dinner I just had at the place next door to the hotel, while waiting for my wife to get back from her office.

Typical narrow counter seating, but a great attention to detail with a cook pulling the noodles Lanzhou style, like in the cartoon above. It’s surreal here with almost everyone wearing masks as they do their jobs or walk around.
