drove down and thrifted Austin today (not much to show for it, pics soon) then met up and did some trading With tx when he got done with work. My third time meeting him and always so generous. (He literally gave me the tie he was wearing as part of our trade)

So, not a great thrifting day in Austin but I did pick up these two.

A major difference from here in dallas where I almost never see Patagonia, north face, etc.
My big score was this beautiful rl sweater from buffalo exchange.

Tough to see the beautiful green colors in my pics. This thing is thick but at $45 well above my usual thrift sweater prices. But as this is for personal, very happy with it.
Something we don't see much of in this thread. Christmas ornaments.

Found these at a nmlc at 90 % off their prices. Paid about 15 for original retail $275. I will take that.
And of course my trade with txwoodwrkr.

This is no exaggeration, he was wearing that rlpl tie when I got there. Literally willing to trade you the clothes off his back. Great guy and a fund, if long day.

Appreciate the confirmation. Now that I’ve kopped random shoes that aren’t my size, the seal has been broken and I’m unable to stop. Picked up another pair of Alden this am. Obviously not shell, but seemed reasonable at $10. Appropriate model number for an Ash Wednesday find.
