@flipstah check out Swedespeed and c30world for deets, the last couple of years quite a few successful AWD swaps done.

And a little closer to the thread topic, I picked up 5 used z racks to help organize my basement death pile.

Couple of cutie pies.

Supreme was 100% unstaged, literally walked down the shirt aisle and it was hanging just like that, thank you.

Current Boglioli on half off ticket day, sure, why not.

Thrift fit from last week's haul, all Borrelli except the shoes and PS.

2-19 - 1.jpeg

Slightly stiff posture, sorry (TWSS), but trying to work the timer on the camera (I'm useless at selfies). Gonna have my tailor let the sleeves out just a smidge, maybe 0.5".

Suit: Borrelli
Shirt: Borrelli
Tie: Borrelli
PS: Charvet
Shoes: Sutor perforated wholecut

Retail: $3730 plus tax
Paid: $96 plus tax

Loved my CLS on dry days. Wet/snowy days I wanted to set it on fire.

Dang.... Seeing the word Swedespeed brings me back. Memories of a time when we had no kids and I apparently had a lot of expendable income to throw into my euro car hobby. Fun car, but I do not miss the maintenance costs one bit. My Saab was about the same in terms of maintenance/repair costs, but man were those seats comfortable!

I always knew I liked you! @Nataku
Yeah, I wasted/spent a lot of time and money and Swedespeed was my forum of choice. Lots of great people over there!

Yep, I'm with you on that. Growing up in Scotland forced me to become an expert winter driver by the time I was in my 20s, but just a few weeks ago, I was scheduled to go to Flagstaff for some warranty work, and started up a 2500ft hairpin climb up Oak Creek Canyon as snow was falling. I was doing just fine (as you know, the trick is to KEEP MOVING on uphills), but right on the steepest part (7-8%), some asshole stopped his truck right in front of me (presumably to shift into 4WD), and I just couldn't get started up the hill again, even with traction control. Had to turn around and endure the "drive of shame" back past all the waiting folks in their 4WD rigs, who were no doubt wondering WTF the AMG guy was doing out that day.
