Local auction yesterday: 1960-ish Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt "Snake" coffee table. 1" glass. $65.

True story: I bought one of these (and a matching "propeller" table) super cheap at an estate sale when I lived in MA about a decade ago. This was before I was hangin' with you lot and getting educated. I just thought they were cool. When I sold the house, the buyer wanted to write me a check for the furniture ($3500 for the entire living/dining area) and I accepted since I was into it all for less than a grand. #thriftlife. #fliplife. Found out what the tables were just a year or so later when I "discovered" MCM, and have been kicking myself ever since. Actually the others I had were lucite, and I think I like this aluminum one better.

These two were nice and classic, the doubble-breasted navy coat is surprisingly nice.

I have a collection of these and was missing orange. I saw one from across the room 3-4 years ago but took my time getting to the luggage section. By the time I made it over there, someone had snagged it. Actually asked the guy if he'd sell it to me and he wouldn't.

A flight attendant from Lufthansa must have donated these pajamas.

Silk Chinese robe. Given that it has English on the tag, I'm assuming it was made for the tourist trade. @sushijerk or anyone else that can help, is the English on the tag just a translation or is there more information available?

Only tie brand worth mentioning, the rest are from local stores:

Leather pen case and planner from an Austrian brand. I had literally just photographed a few pieces from this brand before I found it again.

I have this in the EDP and the price from online discounters makes it a great value. This is ca. 80% full and was €2 since the label is missing from the front. If you're on the hunt for a summery scent, this is really nice.

This is an interesting thing and bought it because I like the how self-satisfied Mr. Stevens is with himself. "Awarded 21 highest prize medals and diplomas" and "sole inventor and manufacturer." He even named it the Stevengraph.

Nope. Pretty much everything is translated exactly. You are probably right and this was the type of thing sold to visitors at huge fabric markets next to fake polo and North face.

Hadn't been out in a couple days, so I decided to do a quick run, expecting nothing, instead found some heat on the first stop.

I bought a lot more than this, and needed to take a second trip to grab everything. As I got back, a cart had wheeled out to put a bunch of stuff in the "case" and I heard the woman say, there were a bunch of "men's perfumes" in there. So I jumped over there to look and scooped the best of them. Priced up, but reasonable.

@txwoodworker You found Creed Aventus!? What was it priced at? Dior Homme cologne there is also very good! I'm a fragrance collector and have all of those pictured.
