Nope! I bought this along with some other suits from same seller (via auctionhouse), and they all seem to be bespoke (not that it is a reason to why there are no tags ).

Yeah, it's a blend. Hard to say how much or how little, though I've seen a few vintage coats with similar labels that had 10%-15% Vicuna. The fabric maker or the tailor definitely wouldn't miss an opportunity to brag about an item being 100% Vicuna, as that would increase the value exponentially.

Yeah that would make very much sense. Nevertheless, it is my first real quality thrift so i'll keep it (and use it) myself! Thanks for the help!!

Quick stop right before 9am at the local GW, when the doors opened for the bi-monthly half-off Saturday. Never could make it before as I am almost always working Saturdays, but had today off, so hey . . . To make it even more fun, I'd just been there yesterday, since I pass the store every day. Glad I stopped in again:

First up, someone's boot collection. Back row: Zegna, LKNW Bally, Tod's jodhpurs, Wolverine Wilderness. Front row: LKNW Tod's suede, new white suede PRL derbys, Bally leather sneaks.

The Zegnas have a couple lugs on the outer side of each, making me think they had jodhpur straps or some other ornamentation at one time. Googling has thus far revealed no clues. Anyone know this model? Maybe I'll have my cobbler replicate whatever used to be there, if I can find out what it was. Heck, I'd wear them as they are if they were my size, but you know how dem folks is.

Spoiler: Deets

Prada long sleeve polo, odd BB jacket with button-down collar, and an ÄLF jacket. I had no idea what that was but instakopped it on vibe and construction quality. Sho'nuff, got it home and saw the little side tag.

Finally, Armani 676s and Gucci 2554s.

A bunch of other foddery stuff, like Carhaart, that I won't even post here. Overall PPU ~$7. Good start to the day.

Need an assist on these RLBL moto jeans. Getting ready to list on eBay but am unsure if the white is leather?

Looks and feels like it but there’s no tag I can find which specifies it - just the cotton/elastane which I assume is just the black parts. Like I‘m feeling pretty confident but don’t want to assume. UPC lookup not turning anything up (as usual...)

And my favorite finds this week. A small thrift where I actually bring our stuff because we trust their money goes to the right places.

Two old suits by James bonds tailor. A little damage but very cool. The Bass family is like the Rochefellers of Fort Worth. Looks like he died in 06 so these may have been sitting in a closet. I will be going back here to hope more stuff comes out.
