I’ve been thinking about this for a while, i think They only reissued pro models, Fenchys may not be super new but it could be a generic Powell from the tail end of of the old school shows boards era, like mid 90’s or so

It’s known as the Tony Hawk medallion deck, and it appears to be from ‘90, when the upturned nose was a new thing. Check these out:

Thank goodness for people who don't throw anything away. 51 years those have been sitting in the pocket. And the best part is if the tag had been attached, its possible someone else might have recognized it. Of course everyone on this thread would have checked the pockets but the average thrift store guy, perhaps not. Like the receipt, the jacket is in extremely good condition. Just a beautiful piece and the color is amazing. My pictures don't do it justice. For those who catch the reference I would call it a Melange brown. (The spice must flow!)
68 is the year before I was born and I am pretty sure $350 was quite a bit of money back then. And how about that low sales tax...
I could not be happier and I apologize but this one is going to stay with me so not available. Doubt i will ever find one this good again. Of course I will keep trying. Good luck out there.

When did this website become so terrible?
View attachment 1319710
3200 posts ago.

I had to start running adblock on my phone just to view actual SF content. Annoying. I realize ads help support the website, but when they drop down over all the control buttons on the top toolbar they gotta go.
Great, I hadn't had to deal with this at all, but now that you two brought it to my attention it is happening on my phone as well. I use an SE, so I can't even see as much of the screen as highvoltorb. I guess I'll have to investigate an adblocker as well.
Didn't we used to have a transparent moderation thread to ask about issues with SF? I can't imagine this is how they actually want it to work, so it would be nice to find out if there is a fix coming.
