Sometimes weekend thrifting is the worst thing ever LOL. I think my entire city decided to go to the local thrifts today as finding parking in the lots which are not even that small was like pulling teeth. A couple of people have been talking in here about thrifting becoming such a "trendy" thing to do and I've definitely been spotting these kids in Jordans and streetwear running around thrifts like chickens with their heads cut off with completely full carts.

I only thrift on weekdays because of this. In the weekend everyone visits thrift stores, on weekdays during business hours you only have housewives, people on welfare, retirees and the odd reseller to deal with.

I usually do the same but the FOMO from this thread always gets me haha. Some of you guys in here have it down to a sweet science but I honestly just pop in the odd times when I have the time. I've heard others in here mention them restocking mostly on Mondays and Tuesdays and other times on the weekends. I definitely know the true good stuff will most likely be gone by the times I go but I'm thrifting for personal so it's not like my livelihood depends on it.

I literally walked up to the bed that you saw in the pictures, turned over one or two, saw they were in the right vein, then scooped them all in a hamper. Walked over to the woman and said "How much for a bunch of ties?" she said "you took them all?" I said yea, she said $25 OK?

YUP IT WAS

Chipp Batik is amazing.

Anyway long story short 99 items for $250 makes my PPU on this $2.52 and that is A-OK with me!

Zeus (istante) and Medusa (GV mainline) both 52 from opposite sides of the city. No pants for the GV but the metal buttons mean that's less of a problem. Love the avant garde 90s button stance

Anyone got any thrift/secondhand, vintage, or consignment store recommendations for Milan or Florence? I'm aware it's not too big out there but would be nice to see something. Thanks.
Just got back from Florence and Rome a couple weeks ago. Thrift scene is pretty thin but I found one vintage store in Florence called Melrose near the Duomo. Crazy expensive but had some cool stuff mixed in with what we would all consider fodder. Maybe Milan would be better because it’s a fashion center. Good luck!
