Yeah definitely that, still, that jeans patch is pretty and I probably would have copped them
Same. Especially if a SI patch is visible. Sold a pair of cotton SI pants with no visible exterior logos for 15x what I paid and quick.

Not much lately and I haven't been out in a bit since my birthday is coming up and I'm doing all that planning stuff.
J. Crew Ludlow jacket, Ellie Tahari something weird and was pretty damn cool. I don't think the name usually constitutes a pick up but it was damn cool. Graham, RLPL, Canali brown label, Lanvin shirts. Etro jacket and Canali brown label suit

Probably won't be doing much for quite a bit due to other work + it's getting hot and I don't like leaving the house when it gets hot.

Does anyone know what this shirt is? It's a polo ralph lauren dress shirt with french cuffs. However, the label is purple. I took a photo next to a purple label shirt, and the color is close, but not a perfect match. Also, the font color on the letters in the garment tag are also purple. I have never seen this before, and I think of the prl as the "blue label", except this one purple.

Happy with today's trip to Melbourne. A couple of pops, and a grail find.

Shirts, both in my size. Top one is Antichi Telai, a pop. We don't see that brand much here; I'm only aware of one outlet. Not really well-known, but excellent quality.

Navy Zegna "multiseason". Pretty sure this is an orphan, but I'm hoping to flip it. My op shop will be very happy to tke it if I can't.

Zegna Sport driving shoes, my size

These shoe trees came free with the Zegnas. OK, if you insist.

Pop on Eidos. These ones are by Christian Kimber, a local designer who just won the National Designer Award here. They look like they're NWOT.

Hoping these are genuine. If not they get re-donated; no big deal.

And, the grail. Vintage Guerlain Derby, pre-1993. Long discontinued and very hard to find. Luca Turin rates Derby as a masterpiece, one of his top 3 male fragrances of all time.

Two pics. Google will fill into fascinating backstory...

"Her father, F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, later revealed the amount, saying he had no idea the bill would be quite that big.

He said: 'My younger daughter got married and I thought, as father of the bride, I should pay for the wedding.

"But when it was suggested how much they would be spending on drinks, I thought it was absurd, and I managed to upset my daughter and my wife.

"Then she spent in excess of £12 million on my daughter's wedding, which I did not know about until afterwards."

I’ve found some of this stuff before. It’s essentially early Purple Label; Polo made at a higher quality. That segment of PRL was then spun off into RLPL. Quality is good. Resale is okay.

That Polo shirt looks to me like someone just bleached it, thus the 'purpling' of the label.
Just my wild guess.

On the Polo shirt, I thought that gold dot on the label usually indicated it was made for an outlet.
The dot doesn’t mean it was made for an outlet, but rather that it’s a past season piece that was sold through an outlet store. The dot was added with a paint pen when it was sent to the outlet. It simply prevented returns of outlet purchases to mainline stores.

The first one I found was sea island cotton, could be psychological, but it seemed like such a nice fabric.

Couple great things in Houston I'll post later, here's this week in ATX
Run o' the mill PRL, but great fabric. Maybe they combed the rabbits...

Regular old JC in the middle, but I like the fabric.

Corny PRL w/ hunting buttons.

Gonna salvage H&S the buttons, nice blazer, but dry clean shine.

Not that I pick it up any more (unless it's amazing) but c'mon, really?
20190516_220434.jpg
Trying to de-logo my life, I think this is my last one, the JC on the left is incredible cotton cashmere, a thicker version of the sweaters you see almost every day, and the Patagucci on the right (found last year) is being replaced with my strict one in-one out policy. I barely need one hoodie, much less two.

Older stuff:

Found 2x new Western Rise yesterday. Losing side civil war reenactment jacket, Need Supply X GV, Paradise found with a SanFran theme
20190511_202633.jpg
Another really nice SuSuSuit. Fits, until I exhale. Meant to take a fabric pic of the vintage Chipp
