Decent short stint down in Phoenix. Starting with shoes, so here's the overview (closer images spoilered):

Clockwise: Polo flannel, Rag & Bone triple patch cotton, Armani mainline tux, two Peter Elliot bespoke SCs (love those orange elbow patches!), very old Brioni HT suit ("oh, its dollar day, but I'll have to charge you $1 each for the jacket AND the pants"), Brioni black blazer with logo buttons.

Potpourri: nwt VV chinos, various ties (Canali is the Seal of Utah), RT 7-folds are numbered, Zegna belt, Polo chukkas, bow tie made in Monterey (RT?). Belt buckle with 24K gold plate (at least, what's left of it).

Oh, and remember a couple weeks ago when I pulled a men's alpaca Sulka duffle out of the women's section? Well, that'll never happen again, I thought. But damn, dropped in again yesterday and did it again. Same store, same section, and I dare say, same donor:

Went to what was listed as an estate sale today. Actually a warehouse with some clothes and industrial stuff. Guy used to thrift and flip clothes on eBay. Fun to talk for a bit. He did have some nice ties. Paid 50 for the lot and some of these are keepers including the polka dot Pancaldi which is the most toned down one I have seen and the 7 fold dunhill.

Hoping there’s book experts out there to help as this is way outside my comfort zone. Picked this up for PPU $25 today, not sure how to determine if it’s the one that sells for $1700 or $300. It’s a keeper but really just curious. Looks like a first edition 1982 to me but I don’t know **** about books. All the text is German.

That's incredible @Sartoriamo. Great haul topped off by the deja vu. I've had a good amount of "lightning struck twice" experiences in my thrifting career by now, and they never fail to blow my mind. Months later, pieces/brands that I haven't found before or after, magically show up at the same store again. It's pretty eerie how esoteric the pieces are when considering the fact that I've found them at the same place. Of course, I can't remember any of them now, but it's happened. I swear.

On the well-known principle of "no v-cleat left behind", I grabbed these Florsheim Imperial 93631 Golden Harvest Longwings without examining closely, especially as they are pre-1973 v-cleats. Took a look at them today, and damn: someone has spray-painted them with leather color. @capnwes tells me it's straightforward enough to remove it, and restore the leather, but to me, this makes them more trouble than they're worth for a flip. So therefore, if anyone is a size 8.5 B, and would like to have these shoes as a project, I would be happy to send them along . . . PM if interested.
