$50 consignment (different store and size than the NOS ones atljon posted)

Quick little update for those interested in vintage shoes (@CWOyaji). Took a quick glance in store but after getting home realized these are not just NOS but NOS from 1958 as evidenced by the date code of J8. Per vcleat, the only decade they used a number as part of the date code was the 50s. I’ve also never seen a hand written script on other older Florsheim. The vcleat is also flush with the heel with is consistent with pre 1973 shoes

Got my ebay stripes today... Sorta. My coworker flipped that Avirex B9 leather vest for $235 plus shipping. Not bad for a $20 investment. I offered to split it 50/50. He said "nah, make it 60/40 in your favor, plus I'll throw you your $20 investment back".

Never seen anyone negotiate a lower commission, but I'm not gonna fight him. Lol!

I'm assuming everyone here knows about a certain thrift store's on-line auction site, but someone might wanna search for "Ralp Lauren Purple Label SAR 6855 Tan Jacket Sz S"

Just to be clear, I'm not a flipper, so I don't know how to evaluate marginal value purchases. I know buying Kiton suits for 20 bucks is a good deal, but whether you can make money off a RLPL jacket at a few hundred? I wouldn't know how to answer that question, just trying to be helpful.

Found this (older) Prada Suit today. A bargain at 12 euro. Size Euro 46R.

Who made this for Prada?

And this Pal Zileri Concept blazer. It's really cool looking, almost new, nice metal buttons. Unfortunately not my size so will go online. Size EU 54

The problem is that everyone knows about SGW. I’ve yet to see anything I’d be interested go for less than eBay pricing.
