I’ve never done it. I just compose myself and try again.

Just at the right place at the right time with the right knowledge and barely enough room in my car.

No label on the teak accent chairs other than a 1961 fabric tag. End tables are c. 1950s Stickley. Chair is Ekornes Stressless in burgundy. I had to drive home (one hour) with the Ekornes poking out the window, so the fireplace was on even before I took the pictures. Not a warm day here in Ontario.

This is the most endearingly British response possible.

    ^I don't think that's the Stickley you're looking for.

Personality thing, I intellectually approach it and try to visualize it. I do it on a small scale to prove I can physically perform the moneveur, once it’s grasped solid, I ramp it up. Some people throw themselves at things with guts and force. It’s expression.

It's definitely not the prime early Stickley. Worth a bit of money, but nothing spectacular. Couldn't pass on a matched pair.

I look at a rail and think, Man, health insurance sucks these days...Even 20% of an ER visit’s still going to be 2 million dollars.

One can still safely rise to the Nintendo challenge with guts and force, though.

    Reminds me of Kanye's line:
Hospital bed a hundred bands, fuck a watch

I fell too many times 20 years ago to think doing it today would be a good idea.

I skated for a solid 15 years, no real serious injuries, got hit by a car and my foot got run over, smashed my foot, now if I even step on it the wrong way it feels like someone’s taking a hammer to my toes

Thrift store socks are rarely a good thing. Exceptions can be found.
