Was gonna wait for my first post to be pretty good. Very good hour or so today (unfortunately high thrift prices, but true thrift nonetheless)

HBT (herringbone twill) stuff was generally WWII-era. Some made it's way into Korea as the extra material was used up. 13 star buttons are WWII. Nice find; the jackets are scarce as it is, but they do turn up here and there but pants are really hard to come by.

That haul just keeps getting better, I love seeing that stuff. I was hunting for the right Shure stylus a few months ago, hard to find them cheap!

Definitely keeps getting better. Haven't even gotten around to posting 80% of what I've found. Got these yesterday..

Found these '06 Jordan 3s yesterday. When I took them to the counter the girl was looking for the price tags and shook her head. I showed her where they were inside ($6.97), and she said, "I know, but this is lower than our base price for shoes, I need to go check with the manager." I thought she was going to accuse me of price switching or something. When she came back she told me the manager said they should have never been put out for sale in this shape and she couldn't sell them to me. I convinced her that I was willing to buy them in the current shape, and that I wouldn't return them. Geez, its just a little flaking sole paint, otherwise they aren't too bad.

Maybe I should ask the manager to save all the "trash" shoes for me.

You definitely win on the "non clothing related general bad ass finds" poll!

I wish I was a bit older to nab as much tube mcintosh and Marantz (and Brooks, Leak, etc) tube gear as I could. I got into it in the early 90s. The Japanese market was in full swing by then. Still got some finds, but not like my older vintage audiophile friends.

Definitely keeps getting better. Haven't even gotten around to posting 80% of what I've found. Got these yesterday..

This is definitely up there with some of my best hauls. Especially because everything besides the records was free ($1 each on those).

I really missed the boat on the tube gear, but caught the tail end of the folks chucking their 60's-70's era stereo gear in the late 90's-early 00's. Wish I would have held onto some of the stuff I picked up back then.

Is that a 12,000 dollar tripod? Or some specialized piece of equipment that happens to have 3 legs? Either way, congratulations

Yep, that's a $12k tripod. I actually think this might be a model up from mine, but still...

Here are some (rushed and low quality, Sorry) pictures as requested. No time to throw it on a mannequin. Been searching for a flaw but haven't found one yet. Picked it while traveling this summer, been sitting on it till the weather cools down.
Currently unsure about availability.

Jesus ******* christ. If that fits, please can I have first dibs? I've getting the beige version soon and would love to display them both.
