I don't look at vinyl much, but when a new cart rolls out with 50 albums all in the same plastic covers you better look:

This owner had great taste and took impeccable care of them. All in thick plastic slip covers with additional, new, dust covers in each. Vinyl is all pristine, even in the albums I left behind. I took just the best ones. Not huge into Punk rock but I appreciate the significant albums of the Era.

Now that we're on the topic, what do you guys do for minor stains on suits? I saw someone give a bunch of loro a bath the other day lmao
I spot wash with wool detergent. It works well for wresh stains, but removes the protective coating on the fabric

so this is a ladies' pocket watch that has been converted to a wristwatch ? wow it is beautiful I love the wire lugs and narrow strap , what a beautiful dial . what a score
Apparently not, according to a vintage longines guy this appears to be all original.

I thought it was a marriage watch but it appears not.

Are these the only three you got?

It's been a while since I posted some finds. I still get out from time to time, but work's been sorta busy lately.

I must be a wilson pro staff magnet. This model was made famous by Pete sampras. The one without the bag I've shown here recently. It turns out to be an early made in Chicago version. Last week I found another st vincent version in its bag. Both pretty clean.

Some eyeglasses on the cheap. Paul Smith Rockley sunglasses, Tom Ford, and some Versace. Lenses on the Versace are meh condition, PS are good enough, TF are prescription.

I turned around and a guy is wheeling in a fresh cart with a vintage Yamaha A1000 integrated and Realistic STA-52 receiver. $14.99 each. yes please!

Both turn on and didn't catch fire. Lol! I hooked the Yamaha up and it sounds great! I'll probably keep it around as it matches my Yamaha NS1000M monitors.

Haven't tried playing the realistic. Perhaps today.

At least a 60 year old HSM overcoat without a nibble on it, looks like it came right out of a Laurence Fellows illustration. Does anyone know the name of the weave?

Looks like a 'broken' or 'stepped' herringbone pattern, very popular in the 1930s, although I think your coat is later. I have two waistcoats from the 1920/30s in a similar pattern on a smaller scale.
