A few finds from the last week...

1000004712.jpg

Apart from some jeans and shirts for myself, the last couple of stops yielded a couple of Kenzo ties, a tie rack Winnie the Pooh and a great pink one from a maker called Carnavale de Venise - never heard of them before. The jeans are selvedge by True Religion and are likely women's, but I've never found selvedge before so picked them up. Sunglasses are Ray-Ban Erikas and Oakley Holbrooks, both in need of some work. At <$3 I thought they were worthwhile bringing with me. Very, very uncommon to come across branded sunglasses in thrift stores were I normally go.

Had a blast today at my regular Friday after work spot, mainly due to how random the finds were.

Pop on Staub (teapot). C&J for PRL tassel loafers.

I believe Rodel sells under their own name, Ive seen their stuff before. High quality, no resale value. Not sure if they contract for any other labels.
Thank you. For $15 I picked it up, will see if my wife likes it

I was never interested in looking at watches or jewelry but it’s still sad that all the goodwills in my area completely took everything in that category out of the stores and onto their website to maximize profit.

More art. Found This fun and colorful watercolor at an estate sale today. I am pretty sure it was made by the owner who died about 20 years ago and was a famous architect and painter here in Dallas. Love finding stuff like this.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
