those look a lot better than the once i decided against for $30 a few years ago. they did have the cloth surround drivers (so no chance of rot), but the veneer was seriously just peeling off, no stands and most importantly, no EQ box.

i would have only bought to flip. in their condition i was thinking like $125 tops for local sale. probably would have gotten around $100. so passed.

i have heard Bose 901 suspended from the ceiling with the EQ box a A LOT of power. i think they were big ass Crown amps. properly set up, the soundstage is ENORMOUS! i think they were using a subwoofer too.

The crystal is all scratched up so it’s in the shop getting a new one and probably a new crown too. It’s gonna pop once I get it back and thoroughly cleaned.
