I think most of my best leather/suede jackets are on a backup drive, and most were sold: Hermes, LP, Cuci, Seraphin and many others. But I couldn't part with this rockin' mahogany RLPL (sorry for the bad pic from years ago in DC). Still wear it a few times a year.

That was mind blowing.

Finally was in the right place at the right time. Lady was bringing out a few handfuls of LPs at a time and I asked how many? She went back and dragged out a recent donation of about 300 albums. Not a single Streisand in the bunch, and all of them in great condition. No huge home runs, but some great stuff for me, grabbed 64 of them at $2ea

I don't think I have pics of it anymore but I found a Lost Worlds horsehide jacket last year for sub $100.

seriously though, i've been rather lucky with leathers. amazingly most fit me (i'm a 36S).
the one i wear most is likely a custom jacket made for the long defunct, but apparently iconic Chuck Arnett Ambush Leather bar in San Francisco. i'm guessing early-mid 80s (i think the bar closed in 1986)? leather is thick as hell. looks totally artisan made.

based on sold comps for $40 matchbooks and $200 torn T shirts, i can only guess at its value, but i like it a lot.

For leather jackets for personal, I've found a no-name miUSA black cafe racer style from the 1980s. Perfectly broken in and fits like it was made for me. And a Sawyer shearling that's finally getting some wear now that I live somewhere with an actual winter.

But the overall winner for me was this one that I found just before Christmas 2017

TBH I think I remember @impuntura 's response more than the jacket
