Anyone thrift any cool instruments recently? I'm still a little mad after a liveauctioneers snafu screwed me out of a vintage martin tenor guitar.

Thrifts in my area long ago decided to just pull almost all musical instruments, on the off chance they're worth something. It's probably similar in other areas. They all go onto SGW.

You might be lucky and see a dime store ukulele or a guitar hero thing but that's about it besides the occasional dated 2000's keyboard. I have not seen any brass, flutes, drums, guitars.. nothing. Probably better off looking in pawn shops and etc.

So this has been developing since last Friday when I got off early due to the computer issues and found the first suit at the main SA in Dallas. I have now been to all six SA's in our area, most of them twice finding pieces in four of them.
For now, nine good condition Rubinacci bespoke suits (they all need a dry cleaning and no personal tags to be found.) tenth has a hole on the lapel and four additional suit jackets ( one with bad sleeve damage) and one pair of orphan pants.
So, could still be up to 15 total and I will be checking. All are double vent, three roll two. I have not found anything else (like ties, sportcoats, etc) that might have been donated with the suits but will keep hoping more stuff comes out.
The haul.

This will be available and my preference is to sell (or possibly trade) it all to one person if possible.)

I have only measured one so far but assume they will be similar.
If these measurements fit and you are interrsted, send me a pm and we can discuss.
Wow!! That is an insane haul! Rubinacci tailored stuff still continues to evade me. It’s on the ol bucket list. Haha.

On this note, I did nab this Conn “Naked Lady” and the Pilot tube reciever out of the dumpster this morning. It’s rough, but couldn’t leave it.

Same with the reciever. It’s a “parts or repair” unit. Still worth saving, though.

Hit a few stores today. Found this awesome vintage Hawaiian shirt. It will be a nice addition to my growing collection. Really interesting cut/style.

Motherlode of 90s braves excellence for $100 counts as a huge win in my book. Especially since half the shirts are mediums.

M. Most lightly worn, the two white ones have light staining/dirt. Bottom right is the piece de resistance.

XL/Large, but they all pretty much fit the same. Two with tags. All in unworn condition.

With new labels I always look for a few clues. This label has some marks of being an obscure designer but I'd say the country of origin would give you more idea as to its' value:

If made in Bangladesh or India then it's nothing (yes I know Arcteryx and Lulu make stuff in Bangladesh). If China likely nothing. If Vietnam it could be something but likely not high MSRP. If Peru/Portugal might be something. If made in USA or France then it's something.

Id say the brand name Fuzao sounds like it's from China. The little M size tag doesn't look too great and the border stitching also not terribly high quality. Then there's the slogan or whatever - Obscure china brands always have some kind of like "passion over pleasure" or something that sounds 'american'. It looks like the clothing form of these random amazon vowel brands like BAOBAB or VEVOR, etc. I'd guess it's not a thing.
