Sorry for the crappy pics and yes, I'm washing our sheets. Lol!

Not sure if the suit is real but for $14 and it fits me, I rolled the dice.

The quality feels on par with my Prada suit. Probably better (which isn't saying much, i know).

Looks like one I found years ago. The style code beginning with 7E could refer to "Ete" or "Summer" and probably 2007. That's about my knowledge of Dior stuff

Ohhh stop it lads, I am getting emotional and patriotic here over all the Volvo talk <3

I am still out there finding some stuff for personal btw
. Suit is a Swedish made 1970's thing. Flared trousers, no belt loops nor side adjusters, nice weight.
Jacket is, I believe, a sample from d'Avenza. It says SS24 and I got this in March I believe. Fantastic fabric in a W/S/L mix and a milanese buttonhole.

Well big corporations, pop music names and trends in general are really pushing "Western" right now so it makes sense.

Thank you!

Did a little research. Hedi Slimane era. probably made by Caruso. Prices are all over the place, but suffice to say, not worth that much considering how ridiculously expensive it was new.

But fairly normal cut. 2 button, notch lapel, slim, but not stupid slim. Was probably pretty short cut, but considering I'm a 36S, the suit is a 38R. It fits like a normal 38S. Close enough!

The one I found was like a 38-40 and I think that's big for Dior lol. It was a plain gray worsted, nothing crazy. It was an Hivre/Winter 08. Believe I got around 2 bills for it. Good find.

Slow summer drought buster weekend. All this stuff is N/A.

First sale I stopped at, I tripled my Criterion collection and snagged a few LPs and 7"s.

Stopped into a GW and found some vintage PTB shells (got one polished).

Another sale I got ties (two PRL madras, two Talbott ancient madder, one Polo Sport) and records….

Same sale, I got a huge haul of PRL sweaters (16 total, many new,old stock), these are the best ones.

I have a weird thing for manual station wagons. Bonus points if it’s brown.

My favorite was a '99 Saab 9-5 wagon with a 5 speed manual. I bought it from a retired doctor in a small town. Literally driving through town garage saleing and I saw it parked at the end of the driveway. Went to inquire about it and drove it home a half hour later. Haven't seen a Saab on the road for awhile, now.

Crappy photo, but I loved the quirky design like the ignition in the center console and the airplane cabin inspired vent adjustments. It had some pep to it, too.

Yep. Part of me thinks I should have kept it. It was a gem and good car. I have a line on an old Starlet I used to own. Might make a move to bring it back home. It was manual for sure.

Do it! Those are awesome! I haven't seen one in probably 2 decades.
Agree! My last non-Toyota was a Volvo V70 2.5T -- would love a 5 speed V70-R.
V70 R was my dream car. With the orange leather interior and the space-ball shifter. Closest I got was a S60 T5 that I put "R" Pegasus wheels on.

I Don't want to derail the thread too much but I had to post this incredible commercial from the 80's. Sadly, Saab doesn't produce cars anymore, but they do make fighter jets and other military stuff.

Saab was definitely a sleeper wagon. Add the Acura TSX wagon and Lexus IS300 Sportcross to that list. Btw, saw a ‘87-‘88 Scirocco 16V in traffic the other day but couldn’t get close enough for a pic…or to ask whether it was for sale, lol.
