Harvey Ellis Organizer, nice. I've always liked the inlaid florals on that line.

Nice kop on that Stickley, @Nataku! I'll stay with the Stickley synergy and these two ladderback chairs that I picked up cheap at an estate auction. The auction was at the home of a couple of gay guys (pretty much guaranteed to have the best stuff, I have noticed), and they'd just spent nearly two grand having them completely restored, and upholstered with premium Italian leather. They even had back cushions made, and some extra fabric ones. Just awesome.

These are not from the NY Stickley, but one of the other Stickley brothers (total of 5), all of whom went into furniture: so these are from Stickley Brothers of Grand Rapids. Been having fun trying to date these (Google Lens just comes up with my own listing, lol), as the flimsy paper label seems to pre-date when that factory came up with the "Quaint" label that they traded on for years in the early 1900s. Been trying to get Stickley's history department to help, and await their response.

Any of you other furniture mavens got any intel? They are just stunning, but my home is all modernist, so thankfully, I can let them find another home.

Dropped them off initially at the local furniture consignment store (hence the ratty walls in the pix, lol), but decided to sell them myself instead, so about to retrieve them.

On another note, I went to put them on Chairish, and they are now wanting 45% commish. Seems like we're always getting squeezed . . . So they're on CL now . . .

Graceful inlays line the front of this versatile piece, a modern interpretation of a design by Harvey Ellis circa 1903-1904. Scaled for modern use to hold a laptop computer when the locking fall-front door is open, the interior space conceals wire access to the work area.
