A $4.50 pick-up. Couldn't turn it on at the flea market. Came home to find an extra charged battery in the case, so I could confirm it works perfectly. Also, the same battery just happened to fit the black Nikon that had been sitting on a shelf here at the office waiting for a battery, so I was able to test it as well:

Thanks. It's just two small soft boxes and a 6MP Canon EOS with some easy RAW processing. I do use Leica R lenses, so that helps. Like most of you I am constrained by not having much space in my office/storage/photo studio, but I do what I can to make the wares look presentable given the time I can spend on each item.

I don't think I'll ever understand thrift-store pricing. A used plastic ladle is $7 and a solid-gold ring is $14.
