Also found these yesterday. Still trying to figure out how to clean the **** off the covers, but I plugged them in and they sound fantastic. View attachment 2162387 View attachment 2162389 View attachment 2162391 View attachment 2162393
I was looking for something vintage to replace my more current pair of Klipschs and these fit the bill perfectly.

I’ve had good luck with plain old Dawn dish soap and warm water. Clean up most of the grimey speaker grilles I’ve encountered.

Better pics.
and it fits what the fack do I do now boys.
What model is this ,I thought it was the traveler but it has a ticket pocket, amd removable collar .

Another vote for keeper. It was meant to be.

Those PRL tassels may be C&J. Can you see “Bench Made in England” under the Ralph Lauren stamp on the insole?

Absolutely is and pics don’t do it justice. I wish it fit, I’d wear it often…it’s tagged a 44R but feels closer to a 42R.
my size then.. fu

Usually I don’t post what I find at sample sales as they’re almost exclusively for personals and barely reach the 90% rule at times, but these two carusos are impossible not to show off especially as they both were well under 90%.

Pure camel hair DB made in a fabric exclusive to Caruso from Loro IMG_1796.jpeg
IMG_1797.jpeg

Even more amazing a cashmere DB suit with a touch of Vicuña making this a pop for that fabric for me- IMG_1798.jpeg IMG_1795.jpeg

Cashmere trousers sound pretty delicate. Awesome stuff nevertheless.

@impuntura That thing looks like it was made for you. I would add to the others here saying that I would keep something like that. I thrifted a full cashmere Cucinelli overcoat that I had thoughts about selling. I changed my mind because I don’t think I’ll find something of that caliber for that price ever again in my size.

I know a lot of people treat thrifting like mercenary selling though where they try not to get emotionally attached to any pieces and it’s all about profits.

I agree with this. I was offered 650 for this game issued blank but I couldn't bring myself to say yes as they were only issued for that one game.
There just isn't another to replace it with.

@Purplelabel You were just posting that the Isaia tie was the first piece of Isaia you’ve found. Isaia was one of those brands that I never find as well, and then I found a suit a couple weeks ago. That suit literally was my exact size too. Tailored to the right sleeve and pants length too.

No wash/content tag? Probably pre ‘71
No way! That’s where I found an Anglo Italian suit once for £100. Whenever I visit The Box sample sales I always make sure to pop by.
They first started the shop with all colour coordinated rails which hurts my senses.
I go to the box sales now and again too.
Better pics.

Don’t get high on your own supply(unless it’s love).
