Updates on this? What did the expert say?

Didn't add much to be honest ,I had it all figured out except the armorial crest.
John Kirkup Newcatsle 1755,he couldn't find the exact family crest in his big book of crests lol.
Although he did say it could also be a Gryphin which I didn't think of.
He put a conservative estimate of 1200 to 1800 on it and the auction starts on the 16th if you guys wanna follow along the link is below.
I gotta say hate the light set up he used for the pics it completely washed out the shine .
Mine was better.

I picked up some ziplock bags of baseball cards just for fun. I spent $10, and got a decent number of mid 70s cards of hall of famers. My favorite was this one though, which is the oldest card I have. It’s from the 1955 Bowman set.

Long time no post, I've been traveling and then got sick so haven't been getting out. Finally felt better enough to pop into my local GW today and was rewarded:

J Crew Montague Bag. Was just sitting on top of the sports equipment shelf for some reason and drew my eye from across the store.

Can't remember if I posted this already but nice vintage women's Lands End Nordic sweater, made in England

Also a some better pics of the Western Mountaineering Parka I posted a few weeks ago

Anyone know how to date this precisely? My guess is late 70s to 80s but would love to know more precisely. Only comp I could find that looked similar claimed 70s but that one had Talon zips. Cool as hell anyway.

I’d guess late 70s on the Western Mountaineering parka, based on the cordage on the hood. Of course, it could also have been a replacement.

The shell material screams mid to late 70s to me.
