These were within reach, at checkout, for $4.

I just realized they have an older logo I've never seen from the late 40s, which puts them in much better shape (for their age) than I originally thought.

nice. I know Pendleton did a run of the OG dudes a while back.
Honestly I like this one better. It's a soft lambs wool. Not itchy at all. I've handled a couple of the all wool older models throughout the years and they were really itchy if I remember correctly.

Good to know. It is a nice color palette change. I am not particularly sensitive to this itchiness but softer is softer which can be lux.
They still make them. The local hardware store even sells them.
Is that a PNW thing then? I might have to eventually grab something like that. Although it is more fun catching it in the wild. I don’t find much western us pattern items in my area. Much more ivy or new england styles here.

Got mine on a trade/sale from here. There was a Lebowski themed bar in a Seattle suburb (I think? Somewhere in the PNW), stumbled on it while on vacation wearing the appropriate garb. Did not stop in for a drink.

Was with my daughter who was under 21 at the time, and WA has weird rules about underage even being IN certain establishments. Even restaurants have to have this weird rope around the bar. Stupid puritan value sh!t right there.
