The tag means real loden from the Tyrol region of Austria. Made up of boiled wool which gives it both wind and water resistance. The fabric would have been used in "Trachten", or Austrian hunting/traditional costumes. S/O to the ebay buyer who schooled me on all of that recently.

No clue about artist, but I like it a lot and it's framed well. Framing shop is in Philadelphia. Signature is pure scribble.

Yesterday afternoon and this morning. Same store. 97 ties. More than 1/2 are Charvet. About twenty T&A. The rest are RLPL, Kiton, recent EZ, Brioni, Drake’s, Ricci, etc. About $7 ppu.

Not sure if kidding but I’ll take the bait...w those brands he could send them to someone I know and probably net $20+/ea if not more. Dude flips like 200-300 ties a week it’s bonkers. He’s on this forum but for the life of me I can’t recall his name...=(

of course...but it's only going to be high quality or niche stuff just like anything else. hermes, charvet, kiton, bvlgari, brioni, vv, etc.

or if you're spoo stuff like Alynn and BB

I send all my thrift finds to @Brianpore. He regularly gets $50 - $80 for Charvet, Brioni, Kiton, T&A etc ties. He takes really great photos.
