Now that's just effed up.
?

Is that original or a print? I just did an image search to find out about the artist and saw an estimated value of a similar piece. Holy hell!
original painting. did it come back as donald roller wilson? love some of his stuff but I don’t think this is an original of his.

curious if it came up with a different name, though. it’s too detailed to be a typical factory painting, but could be one of those swiss-movement-in a-high-quality-rolex-replica-case type operations.

It's a monkey in a dress, with a carved pumpkin and a pickle (?) in its hand.

It's pretty damn strange, although I'm sure it will sell.

ah yeah I got super stoked when I saw it but after looking it over I’m not too optimistic it’s his

lol ah yeah when you said effed up I thought there was some sort of implication I didn’t consider

there’s a long tradition of anthropomorphic animals in art, plus the donald roller wilson allusion. funny enough even tho I’ll prob end up selling this for decorative value only, a lot of times—esp w unusual subjects like this—decorative value can be higher and an easier sale than a lot of listed artists.
