Wtf did I just buy? Some sort of exotic tail?
No markings besides what's pictured.

This is from a couple of years ago, but I think I can still brag. I bought a nice leather jacket ... lightly used ... originally retailed by Wilkes Bashford. When it arrived it had a slight odor of smoke. I wrote the owner but he never responded. I decided to call, but before I did I gave the jacket a once over and found eight $100 bills in an inside pocket. The guy answered and right off the bat he practically shouted "You bought it, it's yours. I'm not taking it back. Adios".

After a year the smoke scent was gone ... and the $800 more than paid for the purchase.

I'm gonna vote real seems like an odd item to fake .
Speaking of legit checks can I get one on this .
I would think it would be a little crisper print but what do I know .there seem to be quite a few out there with the same tag so I grabbed it anyway at 1.49.
Opinions ?

Thanks for the confirmation guys, unfortunate as it is. What gives it away to me now that I’m better informed is the lack of branding on the outsole. I should have remembered that from a pickup from last year(leather quality is very similar though).

@rokor they are definitely some high quality fakes as there is a lot of detail there. I found a pair of Tod’s calfskin chukka boots in my size last week, and you’re right in that mostly all Tod’s will be stamped with the branding on the sole. I paid $18.99 and these were either brand new or worn one or two times.
