Damn, you leave no stone unturned! You check the ping pong paddles too?
Lol yes and no.they hang all the bike parts and small sports equipment in one spot (can never have too many bike parts ) and since I play I always look at the paddles.some of the Butterfly Timos go for $700 new.

Finally, some personal projects I'm working on, and some funky old things. The story goes that my grandparents and great grandparents would go to Indigenous craft fairs every summer in the area, and pick up the most beautiful pieces. The leather pieces here are Indigenous-made, and unbelievably, the leather is still supple and uncracked.
The knives you see are fish knives: the stubby one is for scaling and the long one with the bone handle (first pic) is for gutting. The small knife has tools for cutting sailing rope, and for punching holes and undoing knots.
The Hawaiian shirt was my father's when he was a tyke. It's selvedge, block printed and made in Hawaii. If it was my size, I'd be wearing it all the time.
Finally, the pair of scissors is one of a number of pairs I discovered while rummaging around the place. They're incredible: made in germany, and able to come apart, I'm hoping to restore them with some oil and polish. If anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear them!View attachment 1401111View attachment 1401112View attachment 1401113View attachment 1401114View attachment 1401115View attachment 1401116View attachment 1401119View attachment 1401117 View attachment 1401118
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: you folks are the single great influence I've had for the appreciation of old things. I wouldn't have any knowledge of why any of this stuff is special w/o y'all. Many thanks, and stay safe out there!
If you want any of those knives sharpened fine enough to whittle hair, PM me. I would only as that you pay for S/H both ways, I just love sharpening almost anything by hand, but long since been through my knives, extended family knives, and bosses knives. It's meditative for me, which is why I don't ask for any payment.

Maybe, is there a date code? Only thing that looks wierd is the handle river and color of the red on the handles, it’s usually darker

edit: can you get a closer picture of the front tab thatsays Louis Vuitton?

FEIT is good stuff, I've got some of their women's stuff and its high dollar stuff. Couple of the pairs I have are limited edition like 1 of 30 or something stupid low like that.

Recent finds...

Nothing available at the moment.

Yeah, I'm still buying winter coats. Dust on the lens on the coat on the right, not a stain. The one on the left feels like new.

Really nice linen/wool/silk Zegna.

The color of that Boglioli is hard to capture. I didn't spend much time looking at it when I bought it, but realized it's actually green silk/cotton when I brought it back.

I don't own much "lounge" type of stuff, so I'm keeping this. I actually think it's all womens, but I don't really care. The hoodie is 70/30 wool/poly and just my style.

Didn't see the monograms on the Zegna shirts, probably won't bother with them:

Pants in the back are from a bespoke tailor that I have used for alterations. Really nice Holland & Sherry navy flannel.

Sorry, didn't bother to clean this up before photos:
