The GM I worked for in Miami I think was the GM at that Del Friscos and is not the regional director for Dallas/Ft. Worth. How was it? Any good? I’ve never been

We had our wedding dinner in the double eagle in fort worth. For transparency, there were only 9 of us. The decor/look of the place is what decided us as I am of the opinion that having eaten at all the big steak houses/chains (mortons, capital, bern's, shula's, etc.) I think they are pretty much the same for steak depending on the day. All top notch but can have an issue here or there. Best steak I ever had was at a non steakhouse, The Forge restaurant in Miami Beach.
We find del friscos a beautiful restaurant with great service and consistently very good steaks and all sides, etc. excellent. To be honest I often don't even get steak as my wife always does and I get some of hers. I am a big fan of great lamb chops at a nice steak house. Also we often get prime beef from Costco and while not steakhouse prime level, we have gotten pretty good at making it at home. We go every year for our anniversary but often not much more than that. We do have a del friscos grill near us in Southlake and while I have never had steak there, we find it a great reasonably priced restaurant for a nice but not special dinner.

Those Costco Top Sirloins are the best *deal* of any store-bought meat.

SAMS Club carries the same beef that a lot of chain restaurants use. The one by me when I lived in Arkansas had an insane butcher shop with Wagyu and Kobe and prime all sorts of shit, not sure if it was a test since that’s where home office was or not but it was really surprising
