• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

By what measure is Labels "discount?" I appreciate how they aggregate higher end stuff, but I just don't see it being discount from my pricings.

They have a separate outlet/discount location for stagnant merchandise.

I think even after that they donate it because at one of my local honey holes (church thrift) it shows up a hundred items or so with the Labels tags still on, 50$ Brioni shirt and such. As long as its not Polo Ralph they want 2-4$ for it. The church ladies treat PRL like the holy grail

Is that D’avenza a car coat?
Yeah.

Amazing finds. FYI, I have two of those MP jackets and they've got Kiton/Sartorio manufacturer's tags.
Thanks! I think it's kiton as well. Fits me perfectly and has a winter theme so I am gonna hold on to it for a bit.

A few stops today. My instincts about post-50%-off-day rack repopulation proved to be correct.

Some records for the collection. Had practically given up looking here.

Guess that guy who put those Jacob Cohen jeans in his cart last week changed his mind. Pop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Singlestitch tie dye tee. No tags unfortunately. One step closer to the ever-elusive Grateful Dead tee... one day.

You guys ever see something interesting out of the corner of your eye down the rack and start guessing what it will be? This was one of the rare times my guess was right.

I just did my first test run "upscale" consignment drop off. They literally looked at a treasure trove of CM items (current Brioni, Zegna, AE, Alden) and told me they only take "couture". I looked at the "couture" list and it was like Ann Taylor Loft and Tommy Bahama. As much as I'd like to drop off certain backstock, it just ain't happening in this area. Y'all have this problem?
Did this here too. They turned away a Tom Ford suit, recent Brioni suit, Killer recent Isaia sportcoat and a few other things. They said the lapels on the Tom Ford were too wide and the Brioni had pleated pants. Ugh.I hate to think what they turn away on a daily basis.
