And just to answer the question, it's an orphan. Just About any solid jacket with slim stripes is a suit jacket, enough so that the exceptions aren't really worth the time unless they are a brand you'd pick up even if it was an orphan (like Kiton or Brioni, or maybe Cucinelli).

I have to find a way to clean the back of the suede jacket. There is a spot over the right shoulder blade that has something on it. I reckon I'll have to make a stop at my friendly neighborhood shoe repair shop for a bottle of suede cleaner. You know, it was in the Hallowe'en section. I LOVE lurking in the Hallowe'en section. They stick anything they don't recognize in there, and a lot of vintage stuff winds up there. I've found vintage Emilio Pucci (bright, insane print), vintage Lilly Pulitzer (ditto). This suede jacket. The thing weighs about 5 lbs - it's seriously solid.

The men's coat section was crammed with what looked like an old man's entire collection of 'really keep you warm' wool coats. My daughter turned up her nose and said, "Mom, it smells like an old person's house." Yeah? It's 60 years old. To me, that's history and heritage. I still have my grandpa's Woolrich coat - nothing fancy, just a fake-fleece lined wool plaid - but I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It's the only piece of him I still have.

Got busy with life today, had to install these for my parents.
I hate Bed Bath and Beyond so much. It took 4 hours worth of planing, rasping, filing, and sanding to fit them properly.

I know how you feel about BB&B. Hate going to places like that, but have been there twice the past week looking at some comforter sets that are being "discounted". So much synthetic fabric. [IMG]

If new, for personal use, yes. If used, no. You can get them on sale new for about $50.

What size are ya? I've got like 5 pairs in my workshop. Pre-owned, but pretty clean. I'd consider letting em go for cost + S&H.
