Depends upon the style of the monogram. I believe LL Bean and Lands End offer the option and have several styles posted in their sites...

Quote: Great find! U-Pulls are a great place to check. Last year my dad and I tore up a pair of MG 1100s when they popped up at a local one. I was surprised to see one let alone 2 at the same time. If we had the garage space we would have bought the entire cars as is, but alas our bigger garage was a couple hundred miles away and trying to get the entire cars out of the lots would have been a pain.

It's also amazing what will sell overseas (especial with vintage car parts). I parted out a 50's Buick a few years ago and had a few random parts laying around (generator, distributor and something else heavy) and they sold as a lot to a guy in the Netherlands. Given the weight shipping ended up being nearly $100, and the auctions ended around the $150 mark.

Wasn't me. I would kop deerskin boots. I am not that sure I would buy all Olathe boots. I had a couple pair that I tried that to sell because as you mentioned they can go pretty high. But, Olathe boots seem to be a little bi-polar. They sell for A LOT or for not much at all. I must have had the kind that were not that desirable -- or maybe they were a weird size I don't remember. But, having just checked the sold listings, I am going to give the next pair of Olathe boots are closer look.

Olathe is a lily white suburb of Kansas City and is in Johnson County Kansas. Johnson County used to be among the richest counties in America (in the top 10 I believe) a decade ago. But, Kansas City (and the Suburbs took huge hits in 2000 and 2008. Oddly, I never really had much luck with the thrift stores. The estate sales are a different story.

I did well with the really tall Olathe Buckaroo type boots, not so well with normal boots.

Same as the batch you sent me one from? Don't bother trying, the intitials were written on with ink before they were embroidered on. I've considered having the pocket replaced by one made from spare fabric in the tail, but I honestly don't care that much. I'll be wearing french cuffs with a jacket anyway, and that'll cover the monogram. If anyone asks, I'll just make up a godfather.

Right back atcha, glad those cords worked out for you and the shirt for your friend. Can't wait for the J.Press tweed to arrive, that sucker is
