Finds from this week so far:

    Barbour Girls XL
    [IMG]

Wallace & Barnes Pants - keepers for me. They are like waxed cotton, really nice taper. Almost like flight pants. Need to replace the button though.

    Chino Linos - 38 Waist
    [IMG]

    NWT Unbranded Selvedge 32
    [IMG]

    Huntsman Tweed - n/a

    Awesome covert throat latch:

And this beast, I was stoked to find the jacket on Tuesday. Went back to the store last night and was even more excited to find the pants.

Calling the sveldge aficionados, I came across these jeans. I took a pass due to the rip in the back pocket and the tears along the seams on the bottom. Otherwise they are in nice shape. Any interest, I'd be willing to proxy.

@DapperE I'm no expert but those look fake to me ("Selvedge" looks like the faked rolled stuff from here). So probably a good pass.

Not sure if that's directed at me but Evisu's do real selvedge and they are faked often.

"These are not the Evisu's you are looking for".

    Good instincts to pass.

These are really bad fakes. I've seen worse but these came close to those. Shit, i think 45rpm is trying to reinvent themselves. At least their store in kyoto is. 500 usd for a pair of jeans!? I'm thinking those are natural indigo. There's no way they could justify that steep of a price for using synthetic indigo.

It took only a glance. The reason being apart from the branding elements, everything else is off. they build to a much higher quality than you can see there. with the perfect example being the stitching being uneven, and going through the Lot number area on the tag. also not actually having a lot number. it's one of those cases of "The more you look, the more you see".
They are faked often for their popularity, and their quality is what brought them to the spotlight.

Sorry for the horrid pics. these are two of the pairs spotted last week. not exactly the same, but the quality is there.

on the better ones, the seagull is hand painted. so it fades out nicely. and all the details are correct. their newest offerings are amazing.

    Hope this helps a little.

    - 45RPM is underrated. always has been, and always will be grail level.
