Bros, guess what i koped!?
Now to enjoy this.
So, i got a catalog.
Wit some cool pieces.
Was too chicken to rock the real boro hat so ended up kopping this.
Got this for free at their shibuya shop! Better than thrifted! Pop!
His and her cups!
More to come!
Not Nataku, but I'll give it a shot. Usually you want to be looking for the brown label stuff, that's the good good vintage. That being said, I've never seen black label made in the USA, so that must be from the cusp of when they moved manufacturing overseas. I think your friend did good, black label is not as desirable as brown, but made in the USA makes up for that I think.
@barrelntrigger I am immensely proud to be a part of the Down to earth Japanese street culture. and even more happy for you, that you could experience so much of it. Your enthusiasm is a passport to the real Japan. and i am glad your adventure continued after you left my 'hood. You now really understand the scene here more than many could imagine.
enjoy every minute.
...it being Gore-Tex is a plus as well...
Spot on! Brown label puffers are the most desirable. Still, at thrift prices that piece would be worth grabbing. No idea about the logo/patch. Probably a short lived ski-centered collection. That piece is probably mid 80's.
@barrelntrigger. Man, seeing those pictures makes me want to go back to Japan so bad. Sadly it'll be at least another 4 years until the kid(s) will be old enough to handle an overseas flight.
I generally avoid half off days like the plague, but I was in the neighborhood so what the hell. A few things were surprisingly still on the rack, even at midday.
Ludlow, vintage McNeils that say nail-less, but clearly feature nails, including the biggest nail I've ever seen in a shoe. Seriously, it's huge.
Couple ties for personal use
eBay tells me this is worthless, but for personal use, why not. 100% cotton, made in Italy, chunky black cable knit for $2?
Not to disagree with Spoo (who knows MUCH more about exotic skins than I do), but I think it might be bison.
Retail on those St. John's is HUGE. My wife has found a few pieces and and bought and sold a few. She has found that if you find a suit (both pieces), you struck gold, but the other stuff doesn't sell anywhere near what it should.
That's ME and a few others.
Those shoes look be long and narrow -- Like maybe an 11.5C?
Kapital has some cool business card.
Rocking my favorite hat!
An E thrift, paid for by thrifting!
Borgioli / Ron Rider boots in walnut shell cordovan
(Shown with my also E-thrifted Loro Piana gray flannel trousers!)
You got them! Soooo nice
Past week or so worth of finds.
Ugly-ass Pac shirt, XXL
Alfred Sargent black suede PTBs, one spot I need to clean up but very nice on the whole
Swack of shirts incl. one of those vintage BBs with the unlined collar people rave about. I get it, that one's a keeper.
Chester Barrie 100% cashmere (40R or so IIRC but I forgot to take a pic of the tag)
Corneliani Sportswear coat, 46
Old Chaps suit with a nice pattern
'96 Olympics Starter jacket, XL
Fred Perry diamond zip-up, XL
Cashmere/silk blend PRL sweater vest, L (and thrynergy with one Spoo posted last week)
vtg. sweatshirt from a local marathon, N/A
Pop! Smedley sweater, L
BB herringbone tweed, 46L
Arcteryx base layers x2, XL
English-made tweed SC, 42L, anyone recognize the tags and can ID the maker?
awesome Dallas Cowboys varsity, 42, sometime before '92 as it only has the '71 and '77 super bowl wins on the patch
John Varvatos luxe stripe wool jacket, S
90s Edgewear snowboard jacket, L
PBR denim vest with velcro-in beer koozie in the pocket (sold)
Very nice BB p-loafs, who's the maker on these again? N/A at any rate, they fit well.
Tees and sweats, vintage and otherwise (Red Dwarf is N/A because it's MINE ALL MINE). I'd send the Juicy J sweatshirt to @Ken P but it's a small.
Patagonia snap-t, S
I have been busy with my actual work lately and haven't had as much time to thrift and less time to post my finds. I am trying to catch up. Here are some recent finds from the last couple weeks. This represents about a 1/4. (All available unless noted that I bought it for myself and even then, it might be available).
A Mint (but a bit wrinkled) Zanella.
This was for me. Its totally unstructured. Fabric feels very nice. But, I have never heard of the brand. It will make a nice casual SC.
A vintage Colorado Rockies Jersey
North Face Hoodie but I thought since it is about Hoodie weather, it might be easily flippable.
A great Long Sleeve Harley Shirt with Graphics all down the sleeves.
Another HD shirt. These always do well if I am patient.
I got fooled by this one. It is not a Harley shirt. I grabbed it in haste.
Tommy Denim jacket with big LOGO on the back! Yes!
Not sure if this is a great find or not. New York guys, are these bespoke?
Burberry Blazer Fodder
I do like always like the Burberry buttons. These were a little different. Most of the ones I have seen are just gold, these have a silver face and the rest is gold. Sorry for the crappy I-Phone pics.
Robert Talbott Seven Fold
Super Trad BB Rep Stripe
Ernie Dildo Na
I just liked this. Its an antique Stanley Square and Ruler with Rosewood handle. After I bought it, I looked it up and realized its very flippable.
A Seiko box to put a prior Seiko find in to flip! It was 25 cents, but I do have to clean off the avon goop that got on it.
Vintage T with 737 graphic (they made them here in Wichita -- the PLANES not the Ts.
Old Guy Field and Stream Jacket. Not exactly a Harrington Jacket, but still nice.
This is a POP for me! I have been looking for anything from Johnston Woolen Mills. Its not the awesome buffalo plaid shirt or Jacket, but its a very heavy and very nice Coat with hood!
Size 42 Outdoor Hunting/ Hunting Coat
