Yeah, I'm already regretting those Brooks Brothers dress shirts even if they seemed like a good idea at the time. Thanks for the tips though, I'm definitely gonna be more selective in the future, although I'm sure I'll make many more dumb purchases before I"m through.

I took it as he was confessing. As in, he realizes now it was a mistake.

    Or at least he should.

    Because it was.

    ---

FWIW, and not to resurrect a slapfest, i just had a very pleasant interaction with JRD617 via PM. Cool guy. Don't think he intended to step beyond etiquette, and understands now that this place is finicky.

    Good. Moving on....

Great post, someone should save it (to save some time) because this question is going to come up again and again

One more. I think it's real and from the '80s. That internal lining is throwing me though. It feels like the (really) cheap lining used in fake purses. Any input from the experts? @PLaydice, you find a lot of vintage Fendi, right?

your good. Old FENDI'S quality wasn't all that great.
Designer brands didn't exist in the form we know today. They put out crap sometimes.

PRL cash blend turtleneck. it's funny but i'd much rather wear blends than 100% cash or lambswool. this is actually a dark heather green.

Does anyone here know if Tom fords embroidered dinner jackets are significantly more expensive than his standard fabric ones? A local shop has two shawl collar dinner jackets with unreal elaborate embroidery all over them.

^^Ditto... My popcorn has become stale waiting on people to post some monster hauls. I am homebound fighting a sinus infection so I am not able to participate in any Thriftening adventures. However, if you have a few extra dollars, invest in Kleenex. I, personally, am making their stock go up.
