Been looking for something to store ties in. Bought this today. Not 100% sure I like it. Thoughts?

If your gonna keep the collection at a modest level that amount of storage will do just fine, but from someone who just today had to totally redo his tie storage situation because I have 600+, if your gonna be buying them up left and right, your gonna want numbered stackable bins and a spreadsheet, they aren't pretty but they get the job done.

EDIT: For my personal collection though I use the automatic rotator that hooks onto your closet pole. Enough space for the necessities.

This thing can fit about 30; which is all I need for personal use. I only wear ties once or twice a week. If I ever get to the point where I need to vlookup the location of my ties, I will admit that I have a problem

The Cinese character on the bottom says "Lei" which means storm in a very cartoony style. The second sets of characters says "Beautiful women like jade." I don't think they are worth much though.

Bottom character says "Thunder" pronounced in mandarin chinese Lei (lay).

Second 4 literal meaning: Beautiful Woman/Person (Comparable to) Jade.
I think a better translation is like this: "A beautiful woman is comparable to (the beauty of) jade"
Mandarin chinese pronunciation "mei ren ru yu"
