You have opened my eyes to a new world of luxury that has very quickly gone from a want to a need.
Buy a Lay-Z-Boy and then have loro piana cover it in cashmere hahaha
Both of these were thrifted so this is semi relevant.
Cleaning out my tie wardrobe and can't decide which on to keep (if any)
Left or right?
neither, the left looks like the colors are faded/muted and not in a good way and the right is too dark to really show any color at all....I don't see either improving or adding to an outfit
edit: if it's one or the other, go with the right.
not much but fun from today.
BB italy brown herringbone faux tweed, BB norfolk tweed shooting jacket (never saw one of these before) LL Bean insulated - realized too late it was women's size 18 , local vintage long island jacket
e thrift $15 edward sexton bespoke from 2013. too big but will try and make these work (thanks you know who for the tip)
shearling military hat, mohair scarf
vintage shearling lined bean boots, little big but will work with a thick sock
what have we here?
vintage 100% camel hair thick, plush, soft and gorgeous velvet trimmed Jag Zoeppritz blanket - tremendous. Amazing. Eight dollars.
burberry is fake, bruh.
So guys, I walked into GW today just looking for some MOP buttons to harvest and I ran into this. What are these, and what would these go for? They are pristine condition but god, they are hideous. Am I right in thinking I may have hit thrifting gold with these?
PSA - "Fresh Dressed" is on CNN starting in a few minutes.
Cant wait to watch this.
@ryangmode search ebay for sold listings to get an idea what they might fetch. At least do that much for yourself - it's pretty easy.
Far as what model / style they are, that's a good question for this thread.
Some fucking orange guy is on CNN now...supposed to be Fresh Dressed here as well. WTF.
Ive checked sold listings and there is nothing like this on there. I mean, generally Alden suede would fetch a couple hundred but these might be a different story. The model # is 1958E btw.
Those are from Alden's orthopedic days. I have absolutely no idea on model or anything. There's been a pair of black boots on and off eBay for a few years now. They're always listed at some insane price.
I would venture to guess those are 70s-ish, but someone definitely correct me if I'm wrong. The only place I've seen a pair in real life is at the Alden factory.
I would ask in the Alden thread - it's not a current model, and yes it's kinda fugly but people go for that. Found some in low top on a Japanese site for about $660 "new old stock", but they're unsold so that means nothing.
Been looking for something to store ties in. Bought this today. Not 100% sure I like it. Thoughts?
Do like the tie I found to put in it
Thought this was cool as well. Small stain, but nothing an oxi clean soak can't handle
