Step 1. I drove to Long Island and picked it up.

Step 2. I used leather contact cement to re-attach the loose pieces inside and out.

Step 3. Applied polish with a horsehair dauber in an even circular motion to hit the scuffs from all angles.

Step 4. Polished with a horse hair polishing brush.

That's the 101 First Zip jacket. Started making that style in the 20's. The MR on the Lee tag came in the 70's, but with the Tallon zipper I would not think much newer than that.

i think the buttons on lee jackets have long been black cat eyes. might be there were just moved? but i think those are likely original

I wish that there was a cool story behind my username. Unfortunately, it's pretty tame. While in pre-med at Auburn University, a microbiology professor labeled our assigned lab stations with our first initial-middle name-last name. I have no idea why he didn't use the more accepted first name-middle initial-last name method. Anyway, my middle name is Livingston. The professor and my lab partner started calling me Dr. Livingston and it stuck. I just continued to use it for different usernames and other uses.
(And, no, I am not a doctor.)
