I'm highly anticipating a old school pair of Florsheim's today. Upon receiving them, I'm going to clean them up a bit. How would you all recommend cleaning the soles of them? Just regular old soap/water or saddle soap or what? Anyone cleaned the bottom of the shoes before?

I wouldn't worry about it. Focus on the uppers and making sure the inside of the shoes are clean.

Are they shell or calf? Don't worry about cleaning the soles. However, if they are V-cleats, you might want to consider life insurance.

They're not shell. Luckily my workplace (where I spend most my time) is 'carpet'. Rarely do I have to walk the clinical area where it could be deadly :)

    From one stop today:

Quite a nice tie for a quid

Some cool as fuck jeans that I will probably keep but never wear. So maybe available if you really want them...

I think I basically picked up some fashion guy's old pants...

These things feel pretty nice. NWT R13 "Low" raw denim, this pair made in Japan. Tagged 32 but too roomy for me so probably around a true 34. Pretty damn heavy, straight leg. Not available many places online but retail seems high, around £300-£400 on Farfetch.com. Can any of the denim guys let me know if this is a soughtafter brand?

And 2 more pair of R13s (Boy and Skate) made in Italy in lighter weight distressed black denim. NWOT I think. These fit so NA.

Also reunited a Brioni orphan I picked up last week. I explained that I bought the jacket last week so they let me have the trousers for free on the basis that I spent so much on the stuff above (total of £34!). Stuff I left behind included another pair of R13s (they weren't new and it just felt like I had enough!) and a Loro Piana bespoke suit, in direct disobedience of @eazye - similar to the one I copped last week but an even bigger hole in the front. Looked like the guy had had the night of his life while wearing it, including hot rock burn, just a mess.

Also picked up an Albam shirt, Acne T and Burton T for myself, not pictured as being washed and not especially brag worthy.

I know, this place is easily my favourite new shop - it is near where I used to live and I'd forgotten about it, but that part of London has become super hipster and desirable (which may or may not be connected to my leaving) which I think explains the nice stuff I've found there on my last few trips. Also the cheapest shop I go to, which helps. All suits are around £10 which is pretty amazing for London. I've offered this before but anyone visiting London can drop me a PM and I'll give you the brodeets on this place and a few other favourites.
