Hah! The first decent thing I ever copped after I got over "the hump" (meaning - I quit thinking that JAB and Dior Monsieur were a thing), was an Escorial wool Oxxford blazer, while on vacation [gambling] in Gufport MS. I was over the moon with excitement! Ended up listing it - didn't sell for much, but finding it was pretty cool.

Thinking back, that was like the first hit of crack, first drink of Jack, first win at blackjack, finding a tin whistle in my Crackerjack. Keep going back to Doctor FeelGoodwill for another hit. He's the one that makes me feel alright.

...just back from watching a bunch of Crue videos...hahahahah!

@SpooPoker @Nobleprofessor I scored a huge 1920s Goyard trunk at a flea market a while back, and had planned on having Goyard help to restore it but they were really, really not helpful. I did about 250% profit on it so I'm not entirely mad, but I really would have preferred to have kept it restored as a table.

Guys, thrifted my own closet and came up with a Hermes tie from way back when (at least 10 years ago?). I looked on eBay and someone is selling a similar one -- which they've termed "rare" for like $110ish. I generally take the "rare" tag with a grai of salt when it appears on eBay but wanted to check here. Anybody want to weigh in on a fair market price for this tie? And since I'm about to put it up on the Bay, please chime in if you'd like it.

Did it happened to be a 42 and on the bay yet?

I'm guessing the point is, pinstripe pants have to be a reverse orphan, probably are tagged like a suit, and possibly not labelled with an actual brand label (vs the content/size tag).

I'm in love, but what do you wear them with, and are they a 10.5?

Weird reunite- That Prada orphan I found, reunited it a week or so later from an Austin seller online. Couldn't freaking believe it was the same pair. Also, didn't realize that Prada was made by Saint Andrews.

How in the world did you find the other half of a Prada suit on local ads?

Wasn't looking specifically for it, about shit myself when I realized what it was I was looking at. I was happy to have the orphan, couldn't keep an eye on the store where it came out because I was out of town taking my daughter to college. Seriously a one of a kind e-thrift.
