Random request here, will also post in the b/s/t thread but if anyone has any wayfarers to trade or sell let me know. Going on vacation in 2 weeks and could really use them. Tortoise shell or black preferred. Would also consider Persol's and shit.

Ah, I thought the heart joint was the older tag. I will check for some new labels then! Appreciate it.

I hope that this was a Maserati day. I am just picturing all of these suits stuffed into every available square inch of the Ferrari.

That feeling walking around the airport and the plane with an e-thrifted (ultra gangster-ass douchy coyote trimmed) Gucci winter jacket when it's 30C outside, just to minimize your luggage weight [IMG][IMG][IMG]

@SpooPoker I was going to ask if the Chanel was fake or not (figured you'd know) -- it seemed a bit sketch but since they all came in at the same place at the same time I figured it was worth a shot. The others are really nice, hand finished etc.

Yep, I'm not sure either. At $2.99/ea I figured what the hell, I'll give a couple away, maybe reline a jacket?

    Or go full louche vibes.

The maserati isn't exactly a large car either.

I guy in my neighborhood (two streets over) just got a new Maserati Ghibli, too. I have to pass it almost everyday.

At this point, this thread has been so on fire for so long that when I don't check the it over the weekend, I come back to it expecting amazingness.

@silverwarebandit and @SpooPoker just blew my expectations away. Well done, guys!

Fun fact: Back when I HAD to wear a tie I set a goal to wear a different tie every day, for 1 year. I made it to day 280 or something like that before I got a promotion that, ironically, no longer required me to wear a tie as part of the 'uniform'.
So, this past weekend I went through most of my inventory and decided to part with most of them that I bought, only for the purpose of fulfilling this goal. All bought at thrift prices $5 or less, all are available unless stated (staying in the personal vault).
Will unload these ALL, yes ALL for a few good staple ties (Brioni, Canali, EZ Coture, RLPL, all that ish), size 7 or 7.5 shoes of all kind, a good deal, whatever. Just need em gone fellas.

So you are swapping ties for special collector type ties? Although you own some pretty darn nice ones already?

I have been to so many thrift stores and never find anything good. I'd mostly be looking for ties. Anything in the NYC midtown area to check out?
