It reminds me of the pleather interior my dad installed in an old pick-up truck that he restored.

Say what now??? In what capacity?

Not a huge fan of the color (not a fan of "Sonic Yellow" either) but that interior and price are to die for.

Not sue if this is actually cool, or just seems cool because I'm dehydrated from a 10K relay and I can no longer hold my beer, but watching "When Harry Met Sally" and noticed I recently thrifted the jacket Billy Crystal is wearing the third time he meets Meg Ryan (book store scene). Stafford Harris Tweed.

There's going to be some more coming, but you're right, it'll never be the same. Don't worry about the withdrawals, enjoy the high!! Zilli... holy shit, seriously. Zilli.

Someone tell me this is not an addiction. It's a bizarre anti-bank account draining addiction where, the house does NOT have the edge.

Just like the wife to bring you back to reality. I get the same when I'm pumped on something I think is cool and I wear it and get unbiased, unfiltered reviews.
Funny though, on the subject, this was the exception today:

    Super hyped on tonight's #FridayNightFinds

All 4 of these pickups were POPs for me, and my high as @SpooPoker mentioned earlier is still there.
This isn't anything compared to @silverwarebandit , but here goes the crappy 'I'm way too pumped to post legit pics at 11:30 pics, so here are the labels (porn), pics'

Passed on two more suits this guy donated. One Holland and Sherry and one random tailor here in Cleveland, both super nice, but not as nice as the ones pictured below.
Dudes name was Timothy A. Fortner (Wells Fargo Vice President??). The aforementioned suits were tailored in '05 so that's what I'm dating these as well.

You didn't pick up the Holland and Sherry? You should go back for it if it isn't an orphan. Great job!

    4 7 trousers, 7 12 suits, 17 12 jackets, and three zilli shirts :slayer:

@ChetB I wish it was the same as the haul in my size, everything here is 42 x 33-34.

There were a ton of people in the store. No one else kopping the good stuff though.

Na I didn't, it was a weird brown base with like orange pinstripes. Wasn't feeling like other people would feel it. If that makes sense. I am going to take measurements tomorrow and offer these for sale/trade.

I think I'll wait to post my 4 t-Shirts and 1 Sulka tie. But, I will say two of the t-Shirts are a POP for me. One is from Beaver Liquors!

    :embar:

I done goofed. 4 out of the 5 pin striped pants are reverse orphans, so I'm up to 8 full suits. Plus 7 orphans ... There might be 11 suit halves waiting to be paired up. I guess I know where I'll be this weekend.

Well it really sucks coming in behind @silverwarebandit . I kopped lots more, some more impressive than this (Dolce & Gabanna recent suit, unworn; Salvatore Ferragamo tuxedo shoes; Zileri surgeon-cuffs, etc.) but I've realized I'm not feeling the photography tonight. I'm more kinda feeling the beer. Here's what I got photos of before I called it a night:

Armadillo Zigzag double breasted, this thing as actually really cool, with hand-stitching all over.

I saw this Polo and was like "oh, yeah, more Polo" but then::
    oh...
    OH! okay, sure.

    sure.

Couple ol' NOS Gant thingies from prolly the '90's. I love Gant. No resale on the stuff, but I just find it so charming. These pieces especially.

    sure. whatever.

Very un-polo-like polo. Nautical flags? Sure. Also suspect NOS. Seems unworn.

Congrats on the great finds everybody. Hopefully my motivation will return some time over the weekend and I'll post some more of the finds.

Is no cuffs on FF pants still a viable rule?

wow, miles of Brioni! maybe the pinnacle of the new thread, yeah?

well, here's some stuff that's not brioni, or zilli...

had to cop the velva sheen! i looked this up and apparently Jim Davis was crushing it in the 80s lol

    medusa rivets!

    yohji! pop! might keep this...

polo sport normcore. the ringer is raglan and the fleece jacket is made in usa. but too demure for the lo-fi's to go crazy over.

i'm actually thinking that if i ever run into that stuff i'll start an auction at $10. i can't imagine asking for $1000 for an imported sweatshirt or jacket. i don't even understand it.

    vintage vest for mrs ripper

i think this is probably a ladies' cardigan. but it's baller - the photo is crap but the actual color is like a true hunter red, and i copped for the buttons. some great construction deetz too...

wolf + hunting horn set into a nice thick horn base. iirc i saw these on the old thread on a jacket...

    have a good weekend all!
    peace!
