A very good haul. Probably a few things many of us would have left. But, that Harley Vest is money in the bank!

Not true thrift. Consignment find. But, at around 3% of retail, sure... why not?

Also, in other news: To whomever decided it was a good strategy to buy the NWT Canali tuxedo pants and leave the jackets to pick up on half price day, I have some bad news for you.

Give me a call and lets work something out.

    So the final tally is:
2 BB 1818 Saxxon USA suits (gray and blue, both solid)
1 full NWT Canali tuxedo, peak lapel (pants have repairable damage)
3 NWT orphan Canali tuxedo jackets (1 peak lapels)
1 Samuelsohn custom suit, solid blue (dual vent, flat front; 38L)
    1 pair Jack Spade pants
    1 Billy Reid Tattersall
    1 EZ shirt
    1 Etro shirt
    AE Park Aves in Oxblood
    And this mofo right here
    [IMG]

I also spent more than usual on ties, but these are all extremely recent Zegna Couture or Zegna cashmere in staple gray, brown and blue.

All 1 store, less than 20 minutes.

(I'm happy to make some of this available dudes, but it needs to be for sellable trades, or cash that nets me a bit -- we're extremely short ATM. Sorry to be that way; it's just one of those times. :( )

EDIT: Note that I leave tomorrow on a 2 week business trip. Happy to respond to requests for details thereafter. Again, sorry.

@Fueco Any help on that Patagonia 1/2 zip/snap pullover would be much appreciated! Is there a spot online with old catalogs?

I was confused with the label on the first YY posted today:
"fabriqué au France" is very wrong grammatically in French. It should be "en France". The second small label gets is right and probably was made in France.

But then I saw the label just above for a YY "made in Japan" which is correctly translated in French "fabriqué au Japon". And then I got it:

Whoever made these YY labels is Japanese and probably used the same structure for the "made in japan" translation and the "made in France" one :D

It would make sense... Too bad French grammar is not about what makes sense :D

TL:DR great finds, funny grammar mistake on one of the labels.

$225 for both. My son has been blazing like a rock god all afternoon with the volume on blast. Worth it!

I been away for a minute...... im back and trying to catch up on posts, if you have something dope you had a question about just PM me. Matter of fact, if you got polo questions and you in the thrift you can text me. Only for Guru advice sucka, don't hit me up asking if lil pony's are fake. Ill let you know if your polo/ vintage t is good. Anyway check out this flag, it was balled up in a 1940's suitcase in a basement of a elderly lady who passed. I Know its old, but don't recognize what it could be for. The dye seems natural indigo on the blue.
